Uses
- Heavy Mineral Oil is used for relief of occasional constipation, particularly in the presence of hemorrhoids and painful conditions of the anus or rectum. Can also be used externally as a skin emollient.

Dosage/Directions for Use
LAXATIVE:
Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 to 3 tablespoonfuls (15 – 45 mL) maximum at night before retiring.
Children 6 to 12 years: 1 to 3 teaspoonfuls (5 – 15 mL).
Children under 6 years: Consult a physician.
TOPICAL EMOLLIENT: Apply to dry or irritated areas as needed.
Storage
Store between 15oC and 30oC.
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

This product contains: 100% heavy mineral oil USP.
Precautions
Do not use if security seal is broken.
This product should not be used concomitantly with other laxatives.
Overuse or extended use may cause dependence of bowel function. Do not take any type of laxative for more than one (1) week, unless your physician has ordered a special schedule for you.
A laxative should not be taken within two (2) hours of another medicine because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced.
Do not use in the presence of fever, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain.
