Uses

Balminil® Decongestant is used for temporary relief of nasal congestion, runny nose and sinus pressure due to colds or allergies.

Dosage/Directions for Use

Directions: Blow the nose.

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: With head upright, use 2-3 sprays in each nostril. May be used every 8 to 10 hours.

Important: Maximum 3 applications per 24-hour period.


Storage

Store between 15°C and 30°C.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.


Ingredients

This nasal solution contains: 0.1% w/v xylometazoline hydrochloride.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride, potassium phosphate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide and water.


Precautions

Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing.

Do not exceed recommended dosage.

Do not use this product in children under 12 years of age.

Do not use for longer than 3 days. If congestion persists after 3 days, stop usage and consult a physician.

Do not combine with other decongestant products.

Do not use if you have an allergy to any of the listed ingredients.

Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen.

Use of this product in this container by more than one person may spread infection. Discard after treatment.

Do not use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes or difficulty in urinating due to prostate enlargement, or if you are pregnant or nursing, unless directed by a doctor.

May cause temporary burning, stinging, sneezing or an increase in nasal discharge.

In case of overdose: Call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
